NOTICE of OFFICE CLOSURE

The LSUHSC-NO IRB Office will be closed October 5 and 6 from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM and on Friday, October 9, for internal meetings. Normal operations will resume following these meetings.
 
During these periods, email will be monitored intermittently for emergent matters only. Please anticipate delays in response to routine inquiries.
If your message involves an urgent participant safety concern, please resend your email to IRBOFFICE@LSUHSC.edu with "PARTICIPANT SAFETY" in the subject line and mark it as high priority.
 
 
 

The LSUHSC-NO IRB is launching its annual Satisfaction Survey!

Research staff who have been involved in research over the previous fiscal year will be invited by email to complete the Qualtrics survey, which runs from October 1-15, 2026. 
 
Look for your invitation!  Please fill it out and let us know how we are doing! 
 
Your answers will help us identify opportunities to improve IRB processes, resources, and services!
 
 
 

The IRB has weekly office hours to support your research needs:

Office Hours: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM | Thursdays, 1:00 PM–3:00 PM

Appointments are available via Zoom or feel free to stop by in person during office hours.

To schedule a virtual appointment, please email IRBOffice@lsuhsc.edu with the subject line “Request for Virtual Office Hours Appointment.” Please include your protocol number and your availability during office hours.
